THE
BACKSTORY
Paradisus Dei, a Catholic nonprofit organization, created the successful “That Man Is You” (TMIY) program for men to run at their local parish. As the TMIY program grew, Paradisus Dei needed new software to manage its growth and send updated content to group leaders.
OUR
SOLUTION
We created a centralized database for Paradisus Dei to keep records and distribute content to all users. At the parish end, group leaders can use their computer or phone to access TMIY videos, share presentations and notes, and manage their roster of participants.

WHY IT
WORKS
By proceeding with the project in stages, we met Paradisus Dei’s budget and specific ministry needs.
First, we created management software that Paradisus Dei can customize as their needs evolve. Then we launched a mobile app that allows TMIY users to catch up on content from weekend sessions. Finally, we created desktop software for Paradisus Dei to send videos for group leaders to play from their computer.
The creation of the mobile applications allows for the controlled distribution of program content. Fuzati created mobile applications for content distribution. This includes videos and presentation slides. This approach to content distribution was very important for the organization as it allowed users who participated in the program to access content for classes that he missed during the weekend. In addition, given the on-demand nature of the software, Paradisus Dei is able to modify and distribute content to their entire network much faster that the distribution of DVDs as in the past.
The creation of the desktop software was the final step in the transition of programmatic resources. By creating the desktop video player applications, Paradisus Dei solved two problems. The first was the cost associated with distribution of DVDs to parishes implementing the program. The second was the ability to update and distribute program content to parishes as needed.
THE
RESULTS
Paradisus Dei now uses their database to manage over 120,000 user accounts. Thanks to their new desktop software, they cut the costs of producing and shipping DVDs while keeping all content for group leaders updated in real time. They can also receive and keep track of all donations that support the ministry.
