Catholic Distance University (CDU) offers online bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as certificate programs in theology, philosophy and Scripture studies. A variety of people enroll at CDU to dive deeper in their faith, catechize others or work in Church ministry. CDU contracted us to help them convert more inquiries into applicants for their programs.
We ran targeted ad campaigns that emphasized the quality of a CDU education and the unique features of studying online with them. We also set up a communications funnel to guide an individual through the journey from inquiry to applicant. Digital ads, landing pages and remarketing emails worked in tandem to present a consistent message: When you study at CDU, you receive a great Catholic education with online flexibility.
We tapped into the market of Catholics who want to go deeper in their faith, but simply don’t have the time or resources to accomplish that in a traditional college setting. CDU was right up their alley.
At the same time, people rarely make decisions on the spur of the moment, especially when it comes to committing to a degree program. So we set up our assets to consistently remind inquiries that CDU’s programs will fit their needs and goals.
Since contracting with Fuzati, CDU’s cost per lead has decreased to just $20 — less than three times the $250 industry average for higher education marketing. When CDU runs ads on the internet, its cost per click is less than the average for both Google and Facebook. The bottom line: With the help of Fuzati, CDU now reaches more people for less money.
