Online learning methods are the new normal for Catholic education. When Sophia Institute for Teachers — a leading provider of Catholic textbooks and educational resources — received increasing requests for digital resources, they asked us to help them convert their K-8 assets into a comprehensive online platform.
WHAT
WE DID
Working closely with Sophia, we created a cutting-edge digital Catholic education experience. Our team transformed Sophia’s textbook plans into 32 online curriculums with over 194,000 interactive activities. Most importantly, we designed the program to run on the tablets being used in many classrooms today.
WHY IT
WORKS
The new platform retains all of Sophia Institute’s catechetical assets in an accessible digital format. Instructors can download their plans and materials, and enhance each lesson with online activities such as quizzes and crossword puzzles. They can also test students, assign grades and keep track of individual student progress.
THE
RESULTS
Now over 3,500 teachers with Sophia accounts provide an interactive education in the Faith to over 37,000 students. The software works on both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring that today’s tech-savvy students will benefit from Sophia’s curriculum no matter what device they use.
