The Mercedarian Sisters in Cleveland, Ohio wanted to expand their vocations outreach. They knew that to reach young women discerning their vocation, they needed to be more present where those women spend much of their time: online. So they asked Fuzati to present the Mercedarian identity and charism through a new, discerner-friendly website.
We transformed the sisters’ site into a compelling “come and see” experience. The visuals do the talking as visitors glimpse the sisters at work, prayer and recreation. A soft but impactful design conveys the warm and welcoming nature of the order.
Every element of the new site conveys what it feels like to be a Mercediarian Sister. As you navigate the site, you feel as though you were spending time with the sisters themselves.
We built interactive features on the site’s vocation pages geared specifically for young people discerning their vocation. Visitors follow along with a sister’s daily schedule, walk through the stages of formation and explore the symbolism of the habit.
The sisters now use their new site to actively promote vocations. As more young women discern with the community, they find themselves outgrowing their current facilities and plan to build new housing for novices. Here at Fuzati, we continue to do marketing and communications for the sisters.
