THE
BACKSTORY
Google the Shroud of Turin and you get a lot of clickbait. How do you teach people what’s actually fact? Othonia, the world’s leading organization on the Shroud, had a once-in-a-lifetime chance: the 2024 National Eucharistic Congress. They secured a massive exhibit space, where thousands of Catholics would walk past every day. With that kind of exposure, Othonia had to do this right. The problem? Their old exhibit had the facts, but not the wow factor.


WHAT
WE DID
With the Eucharistic Congress just around the corner, we had to move fast.
In just a few short months, we revamped “Who is the Man of the Shroud” into an immersive, awe-inspiring exhibit.
- Reworked the text across every panel: moving info around, sharpening the story and giving the whole exhibit a natural flow.
- Gave the visuals more breathing room: Instead of cluttered collages, we went for grabbing attention at a glance, with supporting visuals to pull people deeper in.
- Designed a hierarchy of information: Big bold takeaways for the casual skimmer, then more details for the deep-divers.
- Color-coded themes (history, science, Scripture): This makes it easy to connect the dots without getting lost.
